hi , can any one recommend me an affordable source for a private tour . we are 2 adults and 2 children(both under 10). we only have one day in dublin so we would like to utilize is to the fullest. we have whole day from 12 noon till 7 : 00 am in the morning.

You may want to consider just walking around Dublin, a very walkable city, even with two young children. Driving can be pretty congested, and you could spend a lot of time just stuck in traffic. You might also try the Hop On Hop Off bus tour. You would have a driving tour and could get off and on at sites that might interest you.
I would think that information could be got at the Hotel, B&B where you stay.
Also, Tourist Info, either in Dublin or at the Aerfort, should be able to book you with a private tour.
