Private Driver - Not renting a car - First trip to Ireland - Belfast, Sligo, Galway, Dublin

We are going from Belfast to Sligo and are looking for a private car. We could bus and or train, but would prefer to see some sites in Donegal along the way. Any suggestions are welcome.
Itinerary - Belfast - Sligo - Galway - Dublin - two weeks. Any suggestions on tours, drivers or anything else are greatly appreciated!

Maybe take a look at taking the train from Belfast to Derry and hiring a driver there for your Donegal touring. Or take the train to Sligo and hire a driver there. I don't know of a driver in either of these cities, but you could probably work something out with a taxi company by contacting them in advance.

Hi Julie
Greetings from Ireland. One driver-guide who springs to mind is Mickey Cooper in Derry, he often collects my guests in Belfast and tours Derry and Donegal with them. Bringing you onto Sligo would be no problem logistically. But there are many more equally excellent driver-guides also (if Mickey doesn't have availability).
Ideally, after Belfast, you would tour the North coast and Derry in one day and then onwards to Sligo (or stay in Derry or Letterkenny) and from there explore Donegal (ideally the Slieve League Cliffs and beautiful Glenveagh National Park).
Any questions, always happy to answer them.

Stephen, I am also wondering about taxis in Sligo? We are three days there and I am thinking of hikes and getting out of town but not sure how to do that carless! Thank you!
