Our group of 6 adults traveling in early May 2025 is looking to find a private driver/service to take us from Dublin to meet our tour group in Shannon. We are staying in Dublin for 3 days prior, so it is not directly from the Dublin airport. I know there isn't rail service to Shannon, we have checked that option. We really favor a private driver/van rather than a motor coach/bus. Let me know if you know of any in Dublin who provide this service. thank you.

While you can't take the train to Shannon, you can take the train to Limerick which is very close.

Avoid www.GetTransfer.com like the plague. This platform is a total scam operation. They take your money, fail to provide the promised service, and then outright refuse to issue refunds. Even worse, they don’t pay the drivers who actually show up for the jobs — if anyone shows up at all. Customer service is nonexistent: you’ll get automated replies, excuses, and silence. Their entire system is built to take advantage of both travelers and drivers. Save yourself the stress, wasted time, and lost money — book with a reputable company instead. GetTransfer should be shut down.

We used him to transfer from Galway to Doolin and a few days later from Doolin to Shannon. At one point I was contemplating Dublin to Shannon so I know he does the route.
Easy to communicate with, prompt and reliable for us in August 2024.
