We leave next week for the 14-day Ireland tour. We have an extra day in Belfast after the tour ends.
Any recommendations for things to see & do after the farewell breakfast?
The Ulster Museum was very interesting, and there was a good exhibit at the city hall. If you're interested in the Troubles and the murals, the Black Cab tours have been highly recommended, though I didn't take one. The RS tour bus drives through that area and the guide tells you about it, but I'm sure you see more with a cab tour.
The Crown Liquor Saloon built in the 1800's was a hit for me. Well worth a pint.
City Hall is free and it’s a beautiful building. There was a free tour, and they even let people try on the mayor’s robes.
Also worth noting the Belfast city hall has some great exhibits on Belfast history.
