We have 2 days to get from Portrush to Dingle. We are planning to see the Cliffs of Moher during that time. Does anyone have any other suggestions to do during those 2 days? We originally planned to drive from Portrush to Galway (anything to do along the way?) and the next day from Galway to Dingle with a stop at the Burren/Cliffs of Moher. We will be in Galway during the music/arts festival so the rooms are expensive. Possibly looking for another town to stay in.

Have you looked at smaller towns around Galway? There are so many, and you might be able to find a nice B&B for less $ than a Galway hotel. If you'd like to stay in Doolin, I can tell you what I know about B&Bs there. Doolin is an hour or more away from Galway though. Have you checked any of the town below Galway, on the way to the Cliffs?

Portrush to Galway traveling on N15 and N17 will take about 6 hours nonstop. So you will not have a lot of time to stop anywhere along the way. if you stop for lunch, you will have some time to spend in Galway that evening. Galway is a great town for music and pubs.
