Plan a day trip from Shannon to Dublin

Hello-

We are traveling to Ireland in April. We have planned multiple trips, first Belfast on arrival, and then four days going to Klarney, Ring of Kerry and Cliffs of Mohr with sight seeing in those areas, ending up at Bunratty castle for a night. We then have to leave Shannon and return to Dublin for our flight out the next day.

We couldn't find any interesting way to do that in a pre planned tour ( we are not driving ) any suggestions? We are open to anything...but wil have luggage, so an on again off again type of travel arrangement would be tough.

I'm not aware of any one-day pre planned tours that would go one way from Shannon to Dublin with stops on the way to sightsee. The only options I can think of are: 1) rent a car for one day and drive yourself; 2) hire a car and driver for the day or a taxi but that would be very expensive; 3) take the train (or bus) to Dublin, check into your hotel and drop your luggage and maybe do a 1/2 day tour from there to one of the nearby sights.
