Pittsburgh Steelers Playing In Dublin 2025

Greetings all.
The Steelers will be playing in Dublin in 2025 (no date officially announced yet, but we’re betting on 9/28/25), and we’d like have some info on:
1. Has anyone heard anything about a more concrete date (asking those currently living in Dublin)
2. Accommodations near stadium
3. Stadium info
4. Typical wether conditions for September
5. Will tickets for the game be available
Thanks all. Any and all info is much appreciated.

Dave, I hope you can get there for it, should be a great time. If you'll be in Ireland anyway, you might look for a larger sports bar and watch it there.

If the game is 2 weeks later, I'll be in Munich, and I will definitely go to the Irish/Australian pub behind the Frauenkirche. The Aussie half is a sportsbar, and last year we saw the Bears play Jacksonville there. It was a really great time. We were all cheering for da Bears, and many in the pub were wearing Bears jerseys.

It's at Croke Park stadium, in the northern suburbs of Dublin. There is a suburban rail station close by with frequent service- Drumcondra.

There is the Croke Park Hotel opposite (run by the stadium), but I'm not sure of much else around there to stay. However the stadium is only about 20 minutes walk from Connolly Station and the Busaras.

So I don't think it matters much where you stay- prices will go through the roof when a date is announced.

Irish Rail always provide extra trains, both in the city and to destinations across the country when there is a big event at Croke Park. And Dublin Bus provide loads of bus services- as detailed on the stadium website.

Average temperature about 13C/55F, and two inches of rain in the entire month. So quite pleasant

Just a warning that accommodation in Dublin is expensive — and even more so when these types of events (or concerts) are on at the stadiums. Be ready for sticker shock.
