Anyone have any tips on carrying cell phones while traveling? I am already using a neck wallet and waist pouch for i.d. and money, so don't want another bag or pouch to carry.

Where are you going to be in Ireland? I don't usually worry about pickpockets outside of a big city like Dublin so I just carry my phone like I carry it here at home, usually in a pocket or in a side pocket of my purse.

Presumably your fanny pack is large enough to hold your phone. If you are the type who always, or very frequently is carrying their phone in their hand, then get a wrist strap or lanyard. If a lanyard, get one with a break away feature, for safety.
