I am going to be in Northern Ireland in May. I have always wanted to see the murals in (London)Derry and Belfast. Do you have any recommendations for singular guided tours?
Thank You
We just (last week) used paddy wagon in Belfast, black cab tour. our guide was tom (maybe hanna?), he was great.
In Derry. we walked bog-side on our own (easy to get to on foot from the walls), but had it been available we were planning to use Derrie danders (well reviewed).
I don't have an operator to recommend, but I do recommend the murals along Newtownards Road in East Belfast, which are not part of the Black Cab tour. We stayed near there and found the area very interesting and oddly diverse, considering that there is a major sectarian display there.
In Derry, do not miss the Museum of Free Derry. I imagine the murals tours start there. Also, the Wall Museum Project in Derry, which features information and quotations on placards along the Peace Wall along Bishop Street.
