Pallasgreen on the N24 Tipperary N24 road.

I'd love to fit in a stop to my ancestor's village of Pallasgreen, but it doesn't really fit in with my travel plan (Trim to Galway, then a few days on the Connemara Loop, then down to Dingle Peninsula and from there to perhaps Kinsale/Cobh and then a night before our flight in Dublin).

Does anyone have any ideas of how to implement this into a trip? Perhaps on the way to Galway (though it's far off track) or the way back down from Clifden).

If it's a high priority for you, then build in the time to get yourself there. As you can see on a map, Pallasgreen is on the way (or can be on the way) from Connemara south to Dingle, just a few miles out of your way when you pass through Limerick. The Wikipedia article lists several points of interest in the immediate area.

Will you have a rental car, or are you relying on public transportation? If the former, it will surely be easier because you won't be tied to the bus schedule.

Bus connections may be found on the Moovit app; it looks like about a 20-minute bus ride from Limerick. Or you could look it up on Rome2Rio.
