We were set to book two tours out of Dublin using Paddy Wagon Tours. I then saw a couple bad reviews in Trip Advisor. To be fair these were from 2014. Time does make a difference. Has anyone been on one of their tours recently? What is your advise?
We took a Paddy Wagon Tour on our second visit to Dublin. The tour was inexpensive and basically delivered on what it was advertised, but it was an average tour. If you want budget, they are ok, but not the best.
Our first time in Dublin, we did well taking the HoHo bus and doing things on our own. Don't miss the Trinity College and Book of Kells.
You might check Day Tours Unplugged. I researched tours out of Dublin and although my schedule will not allow me to take one of their tours this trip I think they offer a good tour to include small groups and convenient pick up places. I checked reviews for this company on trip advisor and they were given great reviews. They offer 1/2 day and all day tours. I always received quick responses to my questions when I e-mailed them.
I took a Wild Rovers to Giants Causeway, which included a spot in Belfast. Felt it was good and not too rushed. Stopping in Dublin again this June and have booked with them again , doing the Kilkenny Wicklow tour.
Also booked another day tour with Extreme Irish Tours for the Boyne Celtic area. I had contacted the unplugged tours several times- emails and even Facebook page and no response given. That's when I came across the Extreme Irish tours.
