Based on my one experience with Aer Lingus, it's a wonder they ever get any planes in the air to anywhere, anytime. Terrible for this NZ little family.

My one experience with them: from West Coast (US) to Schiphol airport Amsterdam and back.
Going over, no problem.
Coming back, we sat at Schiphol for 3 (4?) hours while they tried to fix whatever needed to be fixed before they finally took us off the plane, gave us a Hotel room, and rebooked us on other Airlines for the next day.
