Greetings, My wife and I will be in England near Holy Head in May 2020. We are interested in going to Ireland, but we only have a few days.
Any suggestions for how we cross to Ireland, and any knowledge of one day tours?

When you are in Holy Head Wales there is a Ferry to Dublin. I feel a day trip with long ferry rides is a lot of effort for not much time in Dublin. Maybe an overnight would work for you. It is pretty expensive to take a car on the ferry. You can fly; maybe you could put Dublin at the beginning or end of your trip. Do you know anything about Wales? There several authentic Castles, and Mountain Train Rides, and Hikes, and Tudor Houses, and Great Estates with fabulous Gardens...sort of like Ireland. If Ireland is on your bucket list give at least a week. I did see some "day" tours on line. If you do book a tour, sometimes the accommodations are booked and paid separately.
