I have a day stop-over in Dublin in September (staying near Connolly Station). Any suggestions on attractions? Eateries? Pub crawls? Ghost tours? Ruins? Shopping? etc....

The easiest thing would be to just grab a ticket for the hop on hop off bus. It will cover all the main sights, and is fairly frequent. You won't be able to do justice to all of the sights in just one day so pick the major ones that interest you most.
