My husband and I would like to take a one-day bus tour out of the city to see the Irish Country side... What do you recommend as not to miss?
What are your not to miss in Dublin, too? And, do I need to pre book the Dublin sites?

I haven't used them in Ireland, but have used and recommend Rabbies in Scotland. See if anything appeals:

We did this many years ago (2011) and a lot may have changed since then, but if you check them out and the reviews are still good, I'd recommend Walkabout Wicklow. They pick you up/return you to a central Dublin location and drive you into the Wicklow Mountains where they lead you on a wonderful day hike. You spend way less time on a bus, and way more time actually experiencing the countryside near Dublin. When we went, the driver/guide also provided commentary as we drove through Dublin and into the countryside. And it's a small group....probably no more than 12. We had an absolutely marvelous day with them. (And we were the only Yanks in a very diverse and enjoyable group....Germans, Canadians, French, and even a gentleman from Croatia).
