My son & GD will need a hotel in Dublin for three nights after their Treasure Island / Driftwood Tour. They want to be in the center of things, within walking distance of good restaurants and interesting places to visit. Would this hotel be a good choice, as in clean, comfortable, nice for the money? I have looked at the FitzWilliam but I'm not sure they need anything that upper end, as they will be out and about a lot. Any opinions? Thank you.

Have had good luck with both www.tripadvisor.com and www.booking.com for cross-checking the relative merits of hotels and B & B's while traveling. Can use the map feature on both to narrow down your choices.
O'Callaghan's seems to be rated pretty highly on both sites.
