Northern Ireland in November

I'm flying into Dublin next week arriving on Sunday the 20th. This isn't my first trip to Ireland, and actually it's just a short stopover so I can visit Belfast and the coast before traveling on. I arrive in the morning on Sunday, and I planned on taking a bus or train directly to Belfast where I have accommodations booked for two nights returning to Dublin late on Tuesday to fly out the next morning. I had booked a Giant's Causeway/Game of Thrones tour originally for Tuesday with Finn McCool's, but the company cancelled the tour. I then booked a Game of Thrones tour on Monday with McComb's, but then they also cancelled the tour. There is another Giant's Causeway tour that I could book on Monday with McComb's but it's basically just a bus there and back with a long stop at Bushmill's which I don't have any interest in stopping at. I'm now thinking about renting a car, but everything I read says it's very complicated in Ireland with all the fees. I'm from the US and I have no experience driving on the other side of the road, and I'm a little nervous about it when I'm traveling solo. Does anyone have any advice or renting a car, or suggestions for another tour company that might be operating tours or Monday or Tuesday in November?

Annaj, have you looked at Paddy Wagon tours? They show a Giants Causeway tour available for November. While I have not used them, I have read many favorable reviews, might be worth a try. Also, it might be a good idea to call them to feel them out on the likelihood that the tour will actually go, perhaps others that have canceled on you couldn't get enough people.

Thank you, but I am aware of the different options to get to Belfast from Dublin and Dublin airport. I was trying to find alternatives for a day tour while in Belfast because the tour companies I book with keep canceling. Given that I am limited to only two particular days of the week while in Belfast, my choices have been limited. I don't want to wait until I arrive in Belfast to book something because then it might be too late. I'm still trying to work out if renting a car is feasible.
