Northern Ireland

We will be taking a bus from Donegal to Northern Ireland with plans to stay in Belfast for 4 nights. We want to see the Antrim Coast, the Giant's Causeway and other attractions. Is this possible relying on bus tours or should we rent a car and stay locally for a night or two and then return to Belfast?

As a person who has visited NI and the areas you've cited, I'd advise a rental. There are bus tours but the rental offers you freedom to choose when and where to go and maximizes the time you have to explore and enjoy each locale. Plenty of B and B's but you didn't say when you are going. If going during peak seasons acquire reservations before you go. If traveling off season you could wing it but if you aren't not that adventuresome then make arrangements ahead of time. In Belfast the Premiere inn in the Titanic quarter is a viable option. Check online for deals. Don't bother trying to Google map it. if you do you'll only see the Titanic Quarter Odyessy Arena. The entire are shown as vacant land in the Google image is all built up now. Walk to the unique and well done Titanic museum one way then across the river into Belfast proper the other way. McHugh's, the first pub you'll see when you cross the river is pleasant. Nice atmosphere. Mourne's seafood next to Kelly's Cellar pub on Bank street has the best seafood chowder!!! If you like fresh mussels you'll like Mourne's. Definitely visit Crumlin road Gaol (prison). Lunch at St. George's market is also enjoyable. Remember currency will be British sterling, pounds, not Euros which is the currency of Ireland.
