Looking for advice on where to base ourselves between Londonderry and Larne. It will be the 3rd week of June and we’ll have a car which we will return to Belfast and then spend 2 1/2 days in Belfast. We’d like to see some of Londonderry and the sights along the coast between there and Larne. We’ll likely have 4 or 5 nights to do this. Wondering if it’s better to spread over 2 locations or just to pick one. Thanks 😀

I would suggest Portrush as a good place to base. It's a really nice coastal town about half way along the north coast so very centrally located for the Giant's Causeway/Bushmills, to explore west towards Derry/Londonderry and east along the Antrim Coast towards Larne.
Plenty of accommodation there, and all facilities.
Ballycastle is another good choice, closer towards Larne.
As you're there for several nights one day you could take the ferry across from Ballycastle to the wonderful Rathlin Island

I'd suggest you may want to edit your topic line to "Northern Ireland Base" since NI is a separate country from ROI and the latter also has a north.
