We want to tour Newgrange and the surrounding area on a day trip from Dublin. We are looking at organized tours. Anyone have a good experience to share with a specific company? There are several and we're trying to get a feel for the best one.

The Mary Gibbons Newgrange tour is excellent. The tour guides are real experts. The guide who led the tour I was on was a retired archeologist. If you search this forum, you will find many recommendations for the Mary Gibbons tour. https://www.newgrangetours.com/

We did the Mary Gibbons tour in 2017 and it was excellent. Newgrange, Battle of the Boyle area, Hill of Tara and lunch at a nice rural place. Great guide. It was a good way to see a lot of sites without having to drive.

Hill of Tara. Only place I've ever had rain hit me sideways and upways.
