I'll be traveling to Ireland with my family in September, and I'm coming back to the States a few days before everyone else. We'll be in Belfast, and I have a relatively early (9:50am) flight out of Dublin. I'm planning to take train to Dublin the night before the flight, but I'd like to stay near the airport for the sake of ease the next morning. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good place to stay near the airport? Would Malahide be a good option?

I've stayed at the Maldron. Big hotel, typical upscale airport hotel with bar and restaurant.
We were satisfied with the Holiday Inn Express. Somewhat spartan, but we thought is was a good value.
Nice little Italian restaurant around the corner.
There's a HI Crowne Plaza next door; more amenities, I assume. They share a reliable shuttle to the terminals.
We stayed at the Premier Inn at Swords. Good value. A short (5min) shuttle ride from the hotel to the airport. I think it cost 2 euros and the shuttle is scheduled service.
Radisson Blu. You can walk to the terminal.
We stayed at the Old Borough Inn in Swords. Recently remodeled, large rooms. Less than 10 minutes from the airport.
The Hilton Hotel Dublin Airport is close by and offers an airport shuttle service for a nominal fee. If you have certain status with Hilton the shuttle service is complimentary. Walking distance to a TESCO and Some eateries. A city bus service also stops near the hotel and can take you to the city center inexpensively and efficiently (depending on the time of day).

The Clayton--free shuttle to airport 5 minutes away. The restaurant at Clayton is good.
