Need Help on 10 Day Driving Itinerary

Hey Guys,
I know you must get this a lot but I was hoping to have some pointers for my Itinerary. I know I have a ton planned, but was hoping you guys could shed some light on whats possible, or what would be better. I will be flying in late May.

Day 1: Fly into Cork from London (I will have a few days in London so I shouldn't be jet lagged). See the Blarney Castle and Drive to Killarney for the night.

Day 2: Spend the day in Killarney (Visit the national park, Muckross House)

Day 3: Get up Early and Drive to Portmangee to ideally catch a boat and land on Skellig Michael. After the tour is done, drive to Dingle for the night

Day 4: Drive around Dingle seeing the sights

Day 5: Drive all the way up to Galway (I know long day). Stopping at the Cliffs of Moher and whatever else you guys suggest.

Day 6: Spend the day in Galway

Day 7: Drive to Dublin
Day 8 & 9: See Dublin

Day 10: Take a day tour trip (so I don't have to drive) to the Giants Steps

Day 11: Fly out

I would really love to see the Ring of Kerry in addition to what's above, but I understand that its a full day thing. Is there anything that you guys would suggest not doing in its stead? Any info will be extremely helpful. Thanks!

If your plan is to drive from Killarney to Portmagee and then to Dingle you're doing the R of K, essentially. It's a day's drive without the trip to Skellig Michael, IMO.

I think Rick doesn't recommend Killarney as a destination, mostly because it seems that everyone else does. Our itinerary had a night in Kenmare followed by two in Dingle (driving the R of K in between) - but we weren't trying to get to Skellig Michael so I'm not up to speed on what it takes to get there.

Maybe spend less of your day in Killarney and then drive out near Portmagee in the afternoon so you have more of the next day for Skellig Michael and then on to Dingle. On our R of K day we left Kenmare around 8 and had lunch in Portmagee, as a guide to driving time.

Dingle to Galway isn't bad, actually. My wife dislikes long days in the car and we did it, including a stopover at the Cliffs, last year without any real mutiny. Consider taking the ferry between Tarbert and Killrush; you should be in Killkee by lunch time.

Blarney Castle hasn't made the cut for us in two trips.

The Giant's Causeway tours frequently take in Carrick-A-Rede as well; I think it's worth adding in even though there will probably be a crowd right at the bridge to contend with.
