More questions on Dublin itinerary

Thanks to all who have answered all my questions about our upcoming trip to Ireland. I'm getting so excited because its now less than 3 months away! Could you please provide some input again on the places to see & restaurants and pubs in Dublin? We arrive in Dublin on a Tuesday, 8:30 am & are spending the first two nights at the Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane, due to the CIE tour first night being at that hotel, I just thought it would be easier if we stayed there instead of somewhere more central for one night then moving. So we have two nights in Dublin then our tour then another 2 nights in Dublin. One night is at an out of the way hotel near Croake Park and the other is at Jury's Inn Christchurch. Here are the things I'm hoping to be able to fit in -

Places to See -
Dublin Castle
Christ Church Cathedral
Dublinia
Trinity College & the Book of Kells (part of our tour)
Walking Tour (includes Georgian Houses & O'Connell St, also part of tour)
St Stephens Green
Grafton Street
St Patrick's Cathedral
Kilmainham Gaol
Guinness Storehouse
Little Museum of Dublin or National Leprechaun Museum
St Audeon's Church

Restaurants & Pubs
The Brazen Head
The Boxty House
Temple Bar Pub & a few others nearby. Will probably do a little pub crawl on our own.
Stag's Head
O'Neills Victorian Pub
Cafe en Seine
Queen of Tarts
Fish Shack Cafe or Leo Burdock's for fish & chips

What do you think? We'll probably not get to see and do all of this but hoping I'm not missing something that is a Must See in Dublin. Thanks for any input.

Diana: I think you're like I used to be--too prepared. It's nice to know what there is to see, but it's often physically impossible to go to so many places.
We now travel slower--and better. If we're tired, we'll sleep late before hitting the road. And we see enough.
I used to scout out the great restaurants only to find the menu not of our liking when we get there or the prices outrageous. I do best eating in neighborhood restaurants and going to neighborhood pubs--at the advice of our hotel or B&B.
And if where you're traveling is one of the great European cities, you'll be back.

Get the tickets for the Gaol ahead of time to be certain you will get to see it. Been there three times a always fascinated with it. Felt the Guinness Storehouse is definitely not worth it.

Yes I'm waiting until Feb 1st to order the tickets to Kilmainham Gaol. I know much of this will likely not make the cut but its a place to start and we'll see what we see.

If your tour doesn't include a visit to Newgrange, consider doing it on your own as a day trip from Dublin. Google it and see what you think.

No, the tour doesn't include Newgrange and given the very limited time we have, I think we'll have to pass on it. Maybe next time. Thanks.
