Hi
I would like to thank everyone who helped me with wonderful suggestions for places to stay in Dingle. I did find accommodations and we pivoted a bit but I am relieved . The first part of our Ireland trip is all set. We are staying at Ariel House B&B. In Dublin Four nights.
Also, found out our time frame of the second part of our trip in September in Ireland 6- 9 involves a bank holiday in the UK I didn’t realize that, no wonder things were getting booked up in Dingle.
My husband and I are going to spend those days in Kenmare and take day trips. We are booked at the Watersedge B&B in Kenmare and a night in Kinsale at the Cloister B& B. we will be taking a train from Dublin to get to Cork. Still planning time in Dingle as a day trip. Thank you for all the suggestions and. help. we are still fine tuning everything I did find availability in Dingle. But my husband and I decided that drive was a lot for him from Dublin to Dingle so that is why we are taking a train. We are looking forward to a lovely time in Ireland. Thank you to all , Mark and Val (still any ideas or suggestions would be welcome)
I am not sure why you think September 6-9 is a Bank Holiday in the UK (it isn’t). And Dingle isn’t in the UK so it probably wouldn’t have much impact if there was a Bank Holiday in the UK. Or am I missing something?
You will have a lovely time in Ireland based on what you shared. It is true though that there does not appear to be any bank holidays in the UK attached to that weekend in September, and also no big time off in Ireland. I just looked up where we stayed in Dingle and there is availability (Brenner Hotel). It looks like you have a plan of action regardless. Have fun!
Hello Thank you and so much for your kind reply and well wishes. I was given wrong information and thought it came from a reliable source unfortunately., Thank you 😊
