Hello,
We will be spending one or 2 nights in the area near Mallow and would like a hotel or BnB nearby. We will not have a car and plan to take the train from Dublin to Mallow. Once there we have hired a driver to take us where we need to go in the Mallow area.

Is there any magic to staying in Mallow? If not, and it's just where the train goes, you could connect in Mallow to other places a bit farther afield. I'm sure your driver would accommodate you.
If you NEED to stay in or near Mallow, I guess no one has any suggestions. You could search lodgings on Google Maps, and take an informed chance based on online reviews. Not perfect, but at least it's something.
Or, if your driver is based in or near Mallow, maybe he'll have suggestions?
