Malahide and bus transport

I'm planning on spending a weekend at Malahide. I see that the bus runs not only to and from the airport but also to and from Dublin city center. Has anyone done this lately? Any recommendations?

We did noted the bus but you can also use the DART to get to Malahide. We used the dart every day last week and found so easy and convenient to get places.
