My family is taking two day trips from Dublin in July, where lunch isn't included. We don't necessarily want to go with the rest of the group for lunch and would like to have some alternatives if possible. The first day is to Blarney, tour hasn't confirmed if we have enough time to eat in Cork, or if we will eat in Cobh for the afternoon portion of tour. Second tour is to Wicklow/Avoca/Glendalough, no idea where lunch will be. Thanks in advance for any input!

If the second tour is at Avoca at lunch time my bet is you will have lunch there. Avoca’s cafe is quite nice.

I agree that Avoca has a very nice cafe with a good menu. The chairs in the cafe have seats covered in the plaid fabrics from the mills.
