The posts on this topic are fairly old... does anyone have updated information on the name of a place (restaurant, hotel, etc.) that will store 2 carryon bags for a few hours while we tour the Rock of Cashel? We plan to take a bus from Dublin>Cashel>Cork and just wanted to stop in Cashel for a few hours.

Stasher doesn't list any places for luggage storage.
Have a read of this post on Trip Advisor which as a year old but seems to be the most up to date information I can find.

When I was there many years ago, with my backpack, they let me leave it behind the counter at the entrance, cable locked to a post or something.

Unfortunately that may not be allowed now. People are a lot more concerned about bags etc being left...

Contact the hotels in Cashel and ask them if they will hold them for you for a fee. I don't see anything in Cashel listed on any of the bag storage sights. Another possibility would be a restaurant, provided you ate there of course. Possible they would hold them for you. Particularly a smaller business, offer them 20 euros see what they say.
