My husband and I will be in Ireland, traveling by car, mid May. In October I booked Killarney private tours for full day private tours from Dingle and Kenmare. Paid deposit by PayPal, received confirmation of everything. Last week I sent 4 emails to confirm B and B pick uptimes. Have not received any replies. Also emailed the lodge they were affiliated with, no replies. I’m afraid that money is gone but want to try and replace with responsive tour guides. Any recommendations would be appreciated, thank you.

Let us know the name of the tour operators, some of the locals on the forum may be aware if they're still in business or not.

We've used him twice without any problem at all. Plus, he's a retired policeman, so he ought to be trustworthy.
But first, maybe double check the email address of your original tour company, or try calling. It's unusual for someone to flake out like that. But if they have, maybe you have some recourse with PayPal?
Anyway, don't let it get you down. You'll have a marvelous trip!
