Looking for a place to stay in Dunquin...or a taxi to get me there

Hello!

My husband and I are planning our walking holiday for the Dingle Way in August. We've got many of our hotels & hostels booked, but the small town of Dunquin has no place available that I can find. Can anyone recommend another place near there?

The places I've asked (that have no room at the inn):
-Gleann Dearg
-Ann Portan
-Gleann Loic
-Dun Chaoin Hostel (no longer operates)
-Old Irish Farmhouse

Which brings me to question 2...if we can't find a place to stay in Dunquin, is it easy enough to call a taxi on the Dingle Peninsula? Perhaps we could walk to Dunquin, then get a taxi to take us back to Dingle, then take a taxi to Dunquin the next day and walk on...

Let me know if you have any ideas! Thanks, L.

Here are a few on the peninsula, all close to Dunquin and seven or so miles west of Dingle town. You'll also find plenty of B&Bs in Dingle. Getting a taxi just about anywhere in Ireland is easy.

I stayed at An Portan when I walked the Dingle Way in 2010.

I used a company now called Ireland WalkHikeBike to book hotels and transport my luggage. Maybe they can help? https://irelandwalkhikebike.com/. However, they booked all my hotel stays, not just one.

I didn't hire a taxi when I walked the Dingle Way nor on another visit. However, I saw taxis frequently. My guess is that getting a taxi or Uber would not be problem.
