We are hoping to take a private tour of Dingle Peninsula so we can concentrate on the views and not driving. Are there recommendations for which tour guide to use?

i was just in Dingle and took a fantastic tour with Michael Collins.
it is a 3 hour tour that visits historic sites and well as covering part of the Slea Head drive. He drives a small van (max 15 i think) -I was very happy to not be driving!
Michael is an amazing tour guide - if you are interested in history as well as the views, i highly highly recommend!

I just finished a fantastic private tour today with Niall Cleary - Best of Ireland Tours. Small independent tour operator who works so hard to make sure you love his tour. He picked us (family of 5, 3 teens) up in Galway at our hotel and drove us to Cliffs of Moher then to Caherconnell stone fort to tour the fort and watch the sheep dog demonstration. We stopped at various old castles and sites along the way. Fantastic experience and well priced I believe. he dropped us at 5:00pm after a long and wonderful day. Highly recommend. Paul Brown is awesome! We did a Ring of Kerry private with Paul and loved it. He does Dingle tours and will fit your tour around what you enjoy and will work around things you may have already seen. His van is fantastic for viewing. This is his web site

We also did the Dingle tour with Michael Collins. I highly recommend. We were able to stop and see some amazing historical sites and he was very good at describing what we were seeing. Some of my best pictures in Ireland were from one of the historical sites- also had a working farm onsite with lambs and puppies and working sheepdogs. Melt-your- heart- cuteness if you are an animal lover! We went in 2018 so hope this is still one of the stops!
Small tour bus and he was very adept at driving the beautiful coastal road with amazing scenery. I’m so glad we did this as we had rented a car for the rest of the trip- but nice to have someone else take over the driving aspect so we could just sit back and enjoy! Enjoy your trip! Be sure to get out to the pubs in Dingle in the evening for amazing music!
