Can anyone please recommend a literary walking tour of Dublin. We will be there in May.

This is the only literary walking tour that I know of in Dublin.

Gary, I have taken the Literary Pub crawl mentioned. It was fantastic. If you deceide to go, buy your tickets ahead of time. They limit the number of people on the crawl.

Thank you Joel and Sarah. This does sound interesting. We are not avid 'pub' goers; do you think this tour still might be interestng for easy going folks but focused much more on the 'literary' content.

I think it's a little of both. I don't think you need to be a pub goer to enjoy it. They talk a lot about the writers, their lives, their works. I've heard that some of the tour guides are actual literary students from Trinity College.
I would also recommended a visit to the Writer's Museum.
