Seeking a Kinsale accommodation recommendation for my wife and I. Musts include ensuite bathroom and short and easy walk to city center restaurants and pubs. High wants are included breakfast and ease/low expense of parking in that we will have a car.

In 2019 we stayed at the Old Bank Hotel right in downtown. It had everything you asked for. Parking was about 2 blocks away near the Smith's grocery market, but it's a short walk and I think it was free for hotel guests. You could ask.

Our RS tour stayed at Friar's Lodge, just outside "downtown" Kinsale. They had parking and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very good. When I asked for oatmeal, the lady asked if I wanted it "with berries," and I declined. By the next morning I had learned that she said "Bailey's," a different choice altogether, and I happily accepted. So, pro tip, go for the Bailey's with your oatmeal.
