Kilmainham Gaol vs Crumlin Road Gaol

We are going to both Dublin and Belfast this July and have looked at both the Kilmainham and Crumlin Road Gaols to visit. We are thinking of doing just the Crumlin Road because of time and we have a lot to see in Dublin vs Belfast. Does anyone have suggestions on either tour? One over another? We have adults, teens and kids (5-15 yrs) traveling together. Thanks in advance!

Been years since I toured Kilmainham but visited Crumlin Gaol recently. That tempers my answer which would be Crumlin coupling it with a Black Cab Tour Of The Troubles. The two go and in hand because of NI and Belfast history.
