Hello everyone! We are going to be in Dublin for the St. Patrick's Day parade this year. We would also like to see Kilmainham Gaol afterwards. They have a 15:45 time open that day. The parade is at 12:00 and supposedly lasts two hours. Will it be possible to get to Kilmainham Gaol after or will the traffic be too much?

Don't know the route of the parade, but in a pinch you could probably just walk it - it's only about a 2 mile level walk from Temple Bar to Kilmainham for example.
If a taxi is required, am sure that if you just walk a few blocks away from the parade route you could find a taxi rank and go from there.
