2 old folk looking for a 2 night base to explore the area and see Slieve League.

What else are you wanting to see in County Donegal? Killybegs will put you closer to Slieve League and is a good starting point for Glencolmcille and Glenveagh Park. But if you want to visit Derry, Donegal is better. Also we enjoyed several restaurants and pubs in Donegal, plus explored the castle and abbey ruins.

Not sure yet. We are mostly a get in the car and drive to the coast and see what happens next kind of people.
