Killarny Help

We will be in Killarney for one full day and the next morning for a few hours in June 2017 and are wanting to see as much as possible. I'm having trouble finding a tour that covers all the main attractions. We're specifically interested in seeing Killarney National Park, Muckross House and Gardens, Ross Castle, and Torc Waterfall. We'd like to do something besides ride in a bus or taxi. We'd be interested in a carriage ride, boat ride, or possible cyclin. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks

I can't help as far as tours go, but we walked between Muckros House and the Torc Waterfall. It was a gorgeous walk with great scenery. If you don't wish to walk back to the house, reserve a buggy at the start of the hike up to the falls. They were all reserved by the time we were done at the falls so we walked back but would have preferred to ride as I had footwear problems at that point.

We did not see Ross Castle but what we did was rent bikes just outside the park. We biked into the park, to Muckross house and farms. We toured the farm and it was great. Husband also did the house. We took a jaunty ride from Muckross around the park an to Torc waterfall. If you are looking for something active this was great!
You could easily bike to the falls as well. The paths were all very well marked and we had great map

Our hotel had also recommended this tour http://killarneydaytour.com although it does not stop at Muckross house or Torc falls. outdoes get to Ross Castle

Thanks for the suggestions! I think we'll bike to Muckross House then decide whether to walk or take a carriage to the falls at that point (or maybe a combination)! You've been very helpful

Sorry for the typos in my original post lol .... we just rented bikes outside the park.. almost across the street from The Lake Hotel. It was in a parking lot and they had all kinds of bikes. For the jaunty, they are stationed outside the park or inside the park right at Muckross. We just walked up to one and they were available. If you want to book ahead of time, you can do so through this sitehttp://killarneyjauntingcars.ie

Have fun!
