Spending 12 days in Ireland, and it just so happens the Killarney leg of our trip falls on the Rally of the Lakes weekend. We were planning on spending 2 days and nights there, doing the Ring of Kerry one day and Gap of Dunloe the next. If we stay perhaps a little south of Killarney, say Kenmare, and get an early start both days, would that make our plans more doable? Or should we scrap Killarney altogether? Mind, we aren't afraid of a bit of a crowd, but have little interest in car racing and are novice drivers in Europe. Thanks for any insight on this.
