Hi. My friend and I are going to Ireland in August. During our road trip from Dublin to Dingle we are debating whether to spend a couple hours in Kilkenny or a couple hours doing the cable car to Dursey and walking around Dursey. Looking for thoughts from people who have been to either one but I'd love opinions especially from people who have been to both.

Well, Dursey will take a bit longer than a couple of hours. The cable car departs from the end of the Beara peninsula so you'll use up some time just getting to it (on a very narrow one lane road I might add) depending upon where you're starting from. Once there be prepared to wait in line - the secret is apparently out and there are lots of other people wanting to do the same thing. Since the cable car only carries about 3 or 4 people at a time it could take you a while - suggest allotting at least half a day if you choose to do it.
