We are planning on leaving Dublin and spending one night in Kilkenny, Kinsale and Kenmare. Does it make sense to stay in one of these places 2 nights instead of having to change hotels for 3 days? Any suggestions on where to stay in each of these cities?

It’s been years, but in Kinsale we stayed at The Olde Bakery. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The place we stayed at in Kilkenny is temporarily closed, so can’t help with it.

Have a look at distances and driving times... Kilkenny to Kinsale is approx 2.5 hours. Kilkenny to Kenmare 3.5+ hours. Kinsale to Kenmare is a slightly more reasonable 1.5-2 hours...
If you are wanting to stop somewhere for two nights then either Kinsale or Kenmare are the two to combine.
