We are a family of 4 , we are doing from Dingle to Dublin with 2 nights to spend in either Kenmeare or Kinsale. Or 1 noght in each ?
would like to tour Ring of Kerry.
any recommendations?

Kinsale’s probably going to be a bit more out of your way, but I’d recommend Kinsale. Last spring, we spent part of a day there, and more time (nights) would’ve been very nice.
Same trip, we passed through Kenmare. The one main street was crammed with people at tables, all lined up next to each other, the length of the street. Maybe they were enjoying an afternoon sit/snack/meal, but it felt like being at a giant outdoor food court, nothing more. No desire to spend 2 nights there.
On your way to Kinsale, make a stop in Macroom, in County Cork.

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but if at all possible I'd recommend you visit the Old Head of Kinsale. Really beautiful and unique.
