Kenmare and Seafari boat trip

Was thinking of taking my two daughters (who love all things animals!) on this boat trip as well as exploring the area of Kenmare. Has anyone done this trip? Any suggestions about the Kenmare area? We will be traveling from a rental house in Ballybunion. TIA
