We are looking to stay in Kenmare and debating between staying in town at the Lansdowne or staying a bit out of town at a B&B or Brook Lane hotel. I’m hoping for advice. We’d like to be in walking distance of shops, restaurants. But wondered about the noise level at hotels in Kenmare. Would we be better off staying outside of town?
Appreciate any thoughts!
We stayed in Rockcrest House B&B 3 years ago. Highly recommend. Beautiful. Country feel but very short walk to town.

We stayed at a beautiful place called Shelburne Lodge. The owners were so gracious and the house was spectacular. We walked to town from the house. Oh and their breakfast was amazing. www.shelburnelodge.com

We were just there and Loved Keare. Clise to the National Park. We sta7yed at Limestone Lodge and ut was clean, quiet and a great breakfast and a 5 min walk to town. Our hostess showed us her amazing handmade Kace she makes. Lively stay. And I recommend if you visit Muckross Estate that you take the boat ride to the other side of the Lake for great views
We stayed at the Hawthorn House just as you enter town. Few minute walk into the center of town. Very friendly (we wound up with an entire house to ourselves!), noise was not an issue.
