Hello fellow travelers-
We are headed to Ireland in June 2019 and am looking for an area to kayak. I've looked on various sites, am feeling overwhelmed and need some advice. We are an experienced kayaking family and would prefer a bay, river or lake something with stunning views. Doesn't matter if it's guided to self-guided. We are mostly traveling along the western side of Ireland.
Any ideas of places would be great.

Skellig Watersports are excellent and kayaking in Balkinskellig bay area is awesome. Nearby Waterville, on the ROK, has both great sea kayaking with wonderful caves to explore and a fantastic lake just inland, Lough Currane, with an Abbey on an island in the lakes center. Awesome kayaking !!!! Just google Waterville kayaking for options.
I had an enjoyable half day sea kayaking trip with Irish Adventure in Dingle. The harbor is scenic, and the sea caves are an added bonus. The guides were knowledgeable and personable. I’m an experienced kayaker, and most of the group were beginners, and we all enjoyed the trip.
