Evening and thanks in advance for the help. We are flying into Shannon morning of Jun 30 from LHR, departing Dublin to BCN July 7 around 3pm and could use some assistance with the itinerary. This is our first trip to Ireland.
Here is our suggested itinerary - please advise and let us know any B&B or castles to stay - we prefer 4* and 5* locations, prefer meeting and staying with locals (AirBnB), and doing things that are non-touristy/local off beaten path....and farmers markets. We are OK not doing Blarney Stone or Book of Kells.
June 30 - Arrive 10am Shannon, drive to Galway, stay Galway 1 night
July 1 - Limerick (or stay in Galway 2nd night)
July 2 - South to Cork
July 3 - Cork then north to Kilkenney
July 4 - 7 - Kilkenney to Dublin, 3 nights in Dublin, arrive in afternoon, drop off car. Spend night of 4th, all day the 5th and 6th, and haead to airpoart @ 1pm on 7th
