Jacobs Inn in Dublin?

I'm 29 and booked a 10 night stay at Jacobs Inn in Dublin. Any information on safety would be great! Thanks!

I stayed once back in 2009 and had no issues. I don't distinctly remember the safety features but I certainly felt safe. I have also booked one night there this May, I am 25 and female and am traveling alone. Hope this helps a little!

As a woman who has done a lot of solo traveling, I'll just note that Dublin is a popular city for people to come from England and all over Europe to (ahem) enjoy themselves by drinking and partying. "Stag and hen" (bachelor and bachelorette) parties are very visible, with associated reveling even during daytime hours, like 10 -11 in the morning. You be the judge of how much nightlife you want to partake of, but as in any major city keep your valuables close to your person and err on the side of caution. For example, if a friendly stranger asks "Where are you going today?" don't give them a straight answer. If someone stops you to say that you "dropped something," be on your guard.
