Itinerray help

We are traveling to Ireland in June we have this as our travel plans
Fly into Dublin - Early Friday Morning - Head to Charlestown County Mayo overnight to see friends
Sat - Head to Galway
spend Sat and Sunday night in Galway - Monday morning head to Killarney
spend Monday and Tuesday night in Killarney
Wends head to Dingle - spend Wends and Thursday night in Dingle
Head back to Dublin Friday - spend the night in Dublin and head back to the states Sat morning.

Our question is do we rent a car or take public transportation?
If we take public transportation we are limited on things to do and travel times. I have never driven on the wrong side of the road and different side of a car and heard the road are tough.
Also Are we trying to do too much in such little time?

Things we are interested in doing but not sure which are must see's
Connemara/Kylemore Abby
Aran Islands
Gap of Dunloe - Killarney National Park - Torc Waterfall
Skeliig Michael
Great Blasket Islands
Looking for suggestions and help.
Thanks all

Ireland's one of those places where you need to rent a car for efficient travel. You'll just be able to see so much more than traveling via bus.
You might want to go onto TripMasters.com to see what their typical suggested Irish itineraries are. They have many self guided tours listed. I have no idea how their bookings including flights can be done so inexpensively.

You will probably want to rent a car, but after an overnight flight from the states, it might be difficult to drive an unfamiliar rental car on the opposite side of the road to county Mayo. The Aran Islands and Connemara/Kylemore Abbey are usually accessed from Galway, but you only have one day there. Either one of those ventures would take most of a day.
