Itinerary review, and places to stay in Ennis?

Hello all,

Thanks for your help previously. I think we have our itinerary finalized for where we are going, and for the most part where we are going to stay, with the exception of Ennis. Ideas welcome on where to stay there. Here is our itinerary (I realize it is a busy one):

Oct 18: Arrive DUB
Check into hotel, tour Trinity Library, see some other Dublin sights.

Oct 19:
Tour Dublin
Stay overnight

Oct 20:
Depart Dublin
Rock of Cashel
Linsmore (time permitting)
Middleton for distillery tour
Cork for Dinner stay at Montenotte Hotel

Oct 21:
Depart Cork, head to Kenmare then Moll's Gap, Torc Waterfall, Killarney, Gap of Dunloe, to Dingle (Slea head loop?)
Stay overnight at Benner's in Dingle

Oct 22:
Tour Dingle then head up through Adare to Ennis (place to stay needed)
Oct 23:
leave Ennis to Cliffs of Moher, to Kinvarra to Connemara (stay private house close to Renvyle House); Kylemore Abbey if time

Oct 24:
Ride horses to Omey island (stay at same house as night before)
tour a bit of Connemara

Oct 25
Aran Islands (plane or ferry)?
return to mainland and stay at AirBnB near claregalway/or spend one more night in Connemara

Oct 26
Depart wherever we stayed and head either to Tullamore DEW or Cong then to Bru na Boinne and to Dublin for overnight

Oct 27
Head back home

Anything I am missing? Am I being overly ambitious? This is our first time to Ireland, and our 10th anniversary trip--2 weeks to go!

I was just on the Best of Ireland RS tour, and we stayed at The Old Ground Hotel, which was definitely my favorite lodging of the trip. The staff were terrific, the room was lovely, and I enjoyed the breakfast (order off the menu plus a small buffet of scones, fruit, juice, etc.). I tacked on another day in Ennis at the beginning of tour, and was grateful that I could check into my room post-red eye (before 9am) without a problem.

Also, the pub in the hotel is terrific and will also have a special place in my heart as the venue for my first-ever pint in Ireland. There was a nice contingency of locals there who were quite friendly. Enjoy!

We traveled independently with our family in Ireland and stayed at the Old Ground in Enid after landing at Shannon. I recall their large breakfast spread. Perfectly located to visit the Cliffs of Moher.
