Itinerary Question: Kenmare to Ballybunion - opinion please

Leaving from Kenmare driving through Moll's Gap to Dingle in mid-August, early morning. Is it realistic to have lunch in Dingle, do Slea Head and then drive to Ballybunion and the spend the night?
