Itinerary help for first time visitor

My husband and I are doing a self drive vacation leaving out of Philadelphia and arriving in Dublin 4/15/22. Interests include hiking, engaging with locals, one or two castles and good food along the way. Our current itinerary includes spending the first night in Dublin and then renting a car the next day and heading to Cobh with stops such as Rock of Cashel and Blarney Stone. Spending the night in Cobh and heading to Dingle the next day and spending 3 nights in Dingle exploring and relaxing. Then heading to Doolin for one night visiting the Cliffs and then off to Clifden to explore the Conemara Region for 3 nights and spending last night in a Dublin airport hotel to fly out on 4/25/22. Is this doable or should I tone it down? Am I spending too much time in the Clifden area or should I split it with Galway? Would love to fit in Donegal but not sure if feasible. Any suggestions much appreciated.

With the exception of the Blarney Stone (which I would skip), sounds good to me.

One of the things I remember most vividly from my only trip to Ireland was how much longer it took to drive from place to place than I thought it would. I think your itinerary looks good and you will love the Dingle peninsula! Just be sure to read up a bit on local driving times rather than estimating by distances on a map. I am from the USA and we found driving on the left a bit unnerving and drove slower than we normally would at home. Luckily for us we were on a lot of country roads where the speeds are slower anyway. Enjoy!

I haven’t been to the Clifton area but I hear it is beautiful. The rest looks doable. Enjoy!
